Book Author to Visit Fairbury During Children's Book Week

Through special cooperation among area school districts, the Fairbury Public Library Foundation and the Fairbury PTA, the children's book author, Jerry Pallotta will make a special appearance for students and families during Children's Book Week in November.
Tuesday, November 16th, Jerry Pallotta, sometimes known as "The Alphabet Man," will present a program for elementary students in grades K-6 at the Burkley Fine Arts Center. In the afternoon, Mr. Pallotta will be conducting a writer's workshop with fourth grade students at Jefferson School. He will also make a special appearance for the public at the Fairbury Public Library that evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Students and parents may attend a book signing event and purchase additional books written by Mr. Pallotta that evening.
