Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
by Kim Parde
In Kindergarten, we have been discussing the letters in the alphabet. What a better way to learn them, than by reading the story, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! The story was written by Bill Martin, Jr. and John Archambault and illustrated by Lois Ehlert. The story is quite an adventure for a bunch of little letters. The kids really enjoyed reading and rereading the story. We made our own version of the coconut tree with the letters of our names. We also had a little coloring book that went along with the story. Watch the slide show to see how everything turned out!
