Mrs. Dux - She Has the Whole World in Her Hands

Hey everyone. This is Zach. Have you ever had a great day at school? Well today was one of those days.

Today in science class we read about animals and plants. We also are making books about organisms, kingdoms and phyla. We have to draw pictures to show the plants and animals.

Today in math we had to finish our pre-test and other assignments.

After that we had P.E. We ran a lap on the track and then we ran sprints. Ms. Seibolt sure works us hard.

Then came lunch and recess. We got to eat and run off all of our energy.

After that came social studies. We checked Zooley, did work book pages, and followed the yellow brick road. Mrs. Dux says vocabulary words are like following the yellow brick road.

Today in reading we read “Summer of the Swans”. Afterwards we had a class discussion. We had two assignments. One was a graphic organizer that we did with a partner. The other was a vocabulary sentence.

All in all, it was a pretty good day. The best part through was when the “get ready” bell rang because we could go home.
