Here I am doing my very first roving reporter assignment. You might be shocked at what happened today, or not. Let’s get started.
In science class we read about the amazing world of mosses. We tested how plants soak up water. We read about vascular and nonvascular plants. Then we read about the life cycle of mosses. It was pretty cool learning about that.
In math we had a vocabulary test. We had to write a word for each answer. There were 11 questions and that was a lot. One of the answers was bar graph. That answer was pretty easy.
In spelling we had a test. We had 25 words, which is a lot to spell. It was very hard. Most of the words had an ie or ei in them. On Monday she will hand out our tests that we already took so we can see what our grade is.
In music and library we did Shine Friday, and in library we read AR. In music for Shine Friday the girls sang a song. The other thing for music is we sang a song from our book. Today’s library was just reading AR.
For lunch we had milk, juice, and cake. For recess, we played dodge ball and football. It was a fun time. The girls won in dodge ball ,though.
In computer lab we learned how to hook a word bubble to pictures of clipart. To hook a bubble to clip art you have to be in Microsoft Word in order to do that.
In reading we checked our workbooks. We checked pages 18, 20, and 21. There wasn’t much done in reading and the good thing is there was no assignment for Monday. Thank Goodness.
In study hall we worked on our assignments. Most of us didn’t have too much homework since it was a Friday. In study hall Mrs. Dux gave us a break.
Finally, I’m done with my very first Roving Reporter assignment. So long until next time.
