"Falling" Into Kindergarten

“Falling” into Kindergarten
We have gotten
off to a wonderful start in Kindergarten and things are “Falling”
into place. The children are learning may new things.
We have started our new reading series and have begun to read
several words and short stories. We have begun to write
letters on lines and have been practicing writing our names.
In math we have learned and can name the shapes.
We have also been sorting and grouping by shapes, sizes and
colors. We are beginning a fun unit on making patterns.
There will be many interesting ways to explore our pattern
making. The children seem to be into the school routine and
are eager to try each new activity. It is going to be a GREAT
year!
