We were all studying when BOOM the lights went out leaving us in the dark. Then doors started shutting and windows started braking when it came, the… BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! Then I realized I had to go get ready for school.
When I got to school, I ate breakfast and hung out with my friends
on the tennis court. Then when the bell rang to come in, we went to
our homeroom. First we did the lunch count. Next we did the flag
salute in sign language
.
When this was done, we went to science. In science class, we had to
draw a mammal and write something about it. There were only a few
books, so everyone was on the move. Next came reading.
In reading we checked our paper and then got an assignment. Almost
everyone groaned.
After that came spelling.
In spelling we checked another page and then studied for our test
in sign language.
Next came our favorite part of the day, lunch and recess.
For lunch, the menu was changed. Instead of what was planned, we
had chicken nuggets. At recess we played football or dodge ball,
swung on the swing, and so on. After we wasted our energy, we went
to math.
In math, we got our pretests back, made graphs out of our grades,
and played with flash cards. The winner was Sidney.
Congratulations!Next came PE.
In PE we played “Every Man for Himself”. A lot of people got out,
even Miss. Seibolt
.
Then came social studies. We checked a page, and then we played a
game. Whoever got it right, got a piece of candy. We have to say
thank you in three seconds or we have to give the candy back.
Although it wasn’t a game, it was part of the assessment.
Last but not least we had band and study hall. Today people who
played percussion went to the band room. In study hall we did our
usual - study.
Went the 3:20 bell rang, we all packed our stuff. Then when the
3:25 bell rang, we headed out the door. Finally no more students
were in Jefferson Intermediate School. What happened after school? I
don’t know, but you do!!!
