Reading

It was just another day in a life of a sixth grader. It is Tuesday the 25th and only 4 more days until my birthday. I arrived at school as always and was ready for anything that came my way!

Before we left for science, we took lunch count. While in science, we had to write an essay on biodiversity. As soon as we were done, we watched Bill Nye.

In reading today we read for twenty minutes. After we were done reading, we graphed our L to J. Then we finished up with the vocabulary review.

Today in spelling we signed the whole time. Even though we did not have an assignment, we learned a lot. Signing is one of my favorite subjects.

In my opinion, lunch was totally disgusting. But hey that is just my opinion! Even though I did not like it, I know the cooks tried. After we finished lunch, we headed outside for a heated game of football.

In math we checked our worksheets and were given another worksheet. This assignment was about dividing numbers with 10, 100 and 1,000’s. Although we were given homework, I still love math.

In P.E. we had Mrs. Ahl for a guest teacher. We warmed up by playing Chinese freeze tag. After that we played Every Man for themself.

Whether we wanted to go to social studies or not, we still had to go. After that we took a test on the new type of device, and then checked our Graphic Organizers.

The day ended like any other day. Thankfully nothing unusual came my way. I packed up my backpack full of books and headed home to do my homework!
