It was time to go to school, already! Well at least it’s my turn to be the Roving Reporter. I jumped on my bike and rode to school. I had time to think and plan what I was going to do. It had to be good, no wait, Great! Everyone is getting better at this.
Pizza Hut pizza! Lunch count, all for pizza. Then we signed the Pledge of Allegiance.
Amphibians and Reptiles. That’s what Science class was about. We read about them on pages A56 and A57 in our textbook. Afterwards we watched a Bill Nye movie about reptiles. Our assignment is to pick a reptile and tell about it.
In reading we read Castle in the Attic chapters 5 and 6. We then took a test. It was a test where you circle the correct answer.
Spelling was up next. You had to be sharp as a tack. We worked with a partner to sign a conversation. Words that we didn’t know how to sign, we had to write down.
Pizza Hut pizza. That was for lunch. I think I told you that earlier. Do you think that it is my favorite? We had pepperoni pizza, and it was awesome. After that was recess, our only recess. I played football and so did a lot of others. Others played dodge ball. If you are as thin as a rail, you are pretty hard to get out. A lot of games are played at recess.
Number and letters add up to algebra. That is what we are learning in math. We checked our homework assignment question 1-28. Afterwards we took a quiz. It was as easy as pie.
Sometimes Mr. Zrust sings like a bird in class. Today wasn’t one of them. We got to pick songs out of our book and sing during class. In PE we played volleyball. We got to rotate so everyone got to serve. It was a lot harder then it looked.
Test time! In social studies we got to use the new clickers to take our test. It was over Chapter 2. After we finished our test, we read quietly. Test scores were handed back at the end of class, but they weren’t the right scores. We had to add them to another part of the test.
Today was mass band practice so a lot of students were gone to that. We all worked on homework.
The bell rang. I packed my book bag to go home. There is no school tomorrow. We get a long and restful weekend ahead.
