Energizers Tell Us to Say No to Drugs!

Everybody’s drooping heads were a sign that it was Monday. We started the day off with lunch count and signing the Pledge of Allegiance.

First off, we went to science. We talked about the difference of birds and reptiles. Then of course an assignment, we had to do a bird puzzle where we cut out the pieces of the bird, we glued them to the right pieces, and then we had to color them.

We had a shortened reading because the fire department came and talked about what was on the fire truck and fire safety. After freezing our fingers off, we went to reading. We learned our vocabulary words, and our assignment was, dun: dun: dun: vocabulary words and a test.
After a long homework assignment in reading, we did our pre-test, which was pretty easy. It was the same with pages 46-47 which we had to do.

We reviewed the Halloween sign language words, and then we hurried to be first for Fiestada Pizza.
Fiestada Pizza was so good. But no one could taste it because they wanted to play outside. In football, sorry boys, but of course the girls won.

We started off doing a two-minute timing in math. Then if we got more than 23 correct on a different assignment, we had no assignment, but if you got less than 23 correct, you had to do 1-9all and 12-20 all. Next was library.

In library we had to do a worksheet on AR points and values for some books we might want. And in music, we talked about the Blues and we had to make our own Blues verse.

Vocabulary words. That’s what we started off with in social studies. Then she had us turn to page 78 and we read about the Nile River. Then everybody moaned because we had to do page 18 and a graphic organizer.

To kick off Red Ribbon week, we had a red balloon to release. We had to wear red today for Red Ribbon week.

We tried to finish our homework, but we didn’t have enough time to do all the homework. Flutes and clarinets headed off for band.

After a hectic day everybody’s heads were drooping again because they had a lot of homework.
