Everyone came in to the classroom with a bandana on. This is drug free week, and today was bandana day. After we came into the classroom, everyone sat down faster than a cop car in hot pursuit. Then we got ready for science.
Mrs. Hudson asked the class about vertebrates like what characteristics vertebrates have. All vertebrates have backbones. After that Mrs. Hudson told us to watch a movie. The movie was about endangered species. Our first assignment of the day was 25 problems long, longer than a giraffe’s neck.
Instead of spelling we had art today. Mrs. Dux told us to finish our posters. We were working on Halloween posters. Most of us finished our posters before the bell rang. Then everyone headed for lunch.
Lunch was creamed turkey over a biscuit. It tasted great. I was really hungry. At lunch recess I played football for awhile. Then I played King of the Castle. Next thing I knew the bell was ringing. We lined up and went inside and prepared for math.
In math class Mrs. Mac told us to check our worksheet. Then we
took a test. It was a 6 question test, not too difficult. After the
test was over, we got an assignment. We had an input and output
assignment.
Ms. Seibolt challenged us to see if we could jog 5 minutes without
walking. It was more tiring than the mile run, but everyone made
it. Then we split up into groups and jumped rope. We are practicing
for “Jump Rope for Heart”.
Mrs. Dux told us to read a story so we could make a pyramid. The pyramid was about the class system in Egypt. The pyramid seemed like a big assignment. There were 5 different classes, and we needed an introduction and title.
Mrs. Dux had us check our worksheets first in reading class. After that we read a story out of the book. The story was about natural disasters. Mrs. Dux had yet another assignment. It was a practice on inferences or generalizations.
At study hall everyone worked very hard on homework. There was
no band, so no one had an excuse to be messing around. Finally the
bell rang.
After the bell rang, everyone headed home. Along with tomorrow
comes another report, and a new reporter. Tomorrow’s report may be
inside-out because it will be inside out day.
