Ronnie Writing During Study Hall

Something unexpected happened today! I wasn’t expecting to do roving reporter. Tanner moved and Chris wasn’t going to be here for Roving Reporter, so it was my turn.

The first thing I’m reporting about is science class. Mrs. Hudson, our science teacher, had us show our aardvark or orangutan. Then she gave us a routine assignment. We had to find the definitions for seven words.

Next, in math, we checked our assignment from the other day. Our new assignment was changing fractions to decimals, page 155.

Going on, next is PE. We played Chinese Freeze Tag. After that, Miss Seibolt picked another game to play called Turkey Tag. These were active games.

For delicious lunch we had turkey with stuffing. During recess we played football. It was different than usual because we didn’t play 2-hand touch. Recess was like a breath of fresh air!

In social studies we watched a movie. There was no assignment, thank goodness!

For reading we read our StoryWorks, a magazine with interesting stories.

Finally, we worked on our assignments at the end of the day. Even though this Roving Reporter assignment was unexpected, I’m glad it’s done, and now I can enjoy my Thanksgiving vacation!
