Ding, Ding! There goes the school bell as loud as the fire alarm. School began and we read our books. After the Pledge, we went to my favorite, science.
In science class we went over what a kiwi, apple, and a pear look’s like including the texture, feeling, and the inside. We had an assignment but it was as easy as saying 1, 2, 3. We had to write elements down, words, and go to the back of your science book and find a liquid, solid, and a gas that started with an o - the same words elements.
I love my reading class because we never have homework. We do decoding strategies. So we did a lesson and a long mastery test too. Decoding strategies help us say words.
We did a spelling test for spelling class. I think everyone got a good grade on it because they were a piece of cake. We also learned a story in sign langue that was fun.
Chicken nuggets, corn, milk, and juice. Is anyone else saying (GOOD)? We didn’t go out side we were in inside for recess. Everyone was as wild as a hyena. We all had fun.
Mrs. McAllister, our sixth grade math teacher, is so cool and nice. We did l to j. That’s where the teacher says a definition and you try to think of the word. We also got to check our work sheet which was done.
We didn’t have PE, thank goodness, but we did have music. We are trying to play a song on the piano. It is also fun. Library was the same. We check out some books and then read them. That is as boring as being grounded.
In social studies we had computer lab with Mrs. Dux, our social studies teacher. We finished our yearbook covers, and then we did a winter scene on the computers. Every time we get on the computers, we learn more and more.
Nobody had band so we had time to get some of our homework done. Some times it’s loud in study hall, but some times it’s not loud. It just depends on if people have a lot of homework.
We did a lot today. We learned a lot in school today too. Ding, Ding! It’s time to go home. I hope every one had a great time. I know I did.
