We started the day in the normal way by coming inside and reading A.R. Then we got ready for science class. Next we did the Pledge of Allegiance in sign language.
Today in science we came in after Mrs. Hudson gave us a warm welcome. Then we sat down to check over our papers. Yesterday we had an assignment to write 2 or 3 haikus on atoms or molecules. Soon after, we went to reading.
For reading today we came in and got settled down. Next Mrs. Mac told us that we were going to learn a new game about synonyms. She drew sticks to see who the groups were. And of course Levi , Ronnie , Jenny and I got stuck with Mrs. Mac. Not long after the game we read Apollo 13. Then it was time for sign language.
Once we got back to our class room Mrs. Dux Started signing left
and right to us. So we just started to say what she was signing.
After that it was time to go to lunch.
Today for lunch was hamburger. At lunch today we sat down and ate
until it was time for recess. During recess most people played
football while others played 4 square. The bell rang to tell us
time for math which was a good thing because it was cooled out.
Today for math we all came into the class room and sat down at our desks. Next Mrs .Mac turned on the over head projector. For the last couple of days we have been learning about angles. After math we got ready for P.E.
Miss Seibolt was waiting for us at our classroom. We headed down to the Armory because that’s where we have P.E. For warm up today we played Everyone’s It. Next we stretched. After stretching, Miss Seibolt told us to walk and stand along the wall. We chose teams for Noodle Hockey which is where we play hockey with noodles. After that game we went back for social studies.
For social studies we checked our papers watched a movie. Then we had writing.
For writing we looked over our papers that were due today. Then it was study hall and band. We played Apples to Apples.
In science I learned that a physical change is where you change the form of something.
In reading I learned how to play a new game. And I learned about the Apollo 13 and how devastating it was.
In math I learned that if you have two parallel lines and put a line through them, they form a bunch of angles.
