Hello listeners, Marissa here, and I’m going to tell you about a unique day in the 6th grade.

Today in science we handed in our worksheets. We learned that window cleaner doesn’t smell very good, and that it’s used in hair dye.

Next we went to reading. Today on our weekly test we learned about Trickster Tails. I didn’t understand at first but when I reread it, I understood it better. That was the title to a story we read on our test.

Next it was time for spelling. We did a weekly test, and might I add, we know the consequences if we don’t study.

Lunch time!!! Today we had egg rolls with sweet and sour chicken. We stayed in during recess playing, apples to apples, reading, ran around, or just talked.

Today in math we first did L TO J, and then got back papers. I found out why I missed what I missed.

After that we were on our way to social studies. Today we learned about Mesoamerica. Then we had to do page 39 in our workbooks and do a G.O. (graphic organizer).

We gathered our books and went to library where I found out that making a picture of a character in your book is a little hard.

Next was music. We’re learning dances, and today we learned The Fox. It really is harder than it sounds.

For study hall we did art. We put 3 different sized papers on top of each other, made our name, and cut it out. Then put our favorite thing on it like a monkey, computer, or ipod.

Well that was it. This has been a unique day in the 6th grade.
