Hooray, woo who. It’s Friday, the best day of the week. It was Mrs. Hudson’s birthday today and Anna’s is tomorrow. Tomorrow is Ground Hog Day. I sure hope the Ground Hog doesn’t see his shadow; I have had enough of this winter weather.
During science we told Mrs. Hudson happy birthday then checked our test prep Worksheet. Next we were given an assignment. We had to take the pre-test today. We have been studying elements and atoms and are getting ready for a test.
In reading we watched S.O.S. Titanic. The first part was good but we couldn’t watch all of it.
Next in spelling we took our test. Then Mrs. Dux read “The Perils of the Peppermints” to us. Finally it is time for lunch.
We had sloppy Joe on a bun for lunch. In recess most of us played football. We haven’t been outside all this week for recess because it has been too cold. So today it was a real treat to get out and run. I sure hope it stays warm the next few weeks. The boys won the football game by 3 touchdowns.
Mrs. Mac told us to line up numerically to hand in our assignment. Then we took a pre test and a vocabulary test. Almost everyone got done faster than a cheetah.
Mrs. Dux taught us about Microsoft Publisher. There are a lot of things you can do on Microsoft Publisher. You can make flyers, banners and paper airplanes with Publisher.
In library we read A. R. Then, in music, we watched Newsies. Newsies is a musical about boys selling newspapers. On Monday we will finish the movie.
We finished S.O.S. Titanic during study hall. The movie was great. The last half of study hall was for cleaning the room. This included cleaning our desks, sweeping the floor, and vacuuming the carpet.
We had a great day of movies. Another good thing was we only had one assignment. It really was the best day of the week. Finally it’s the weekend.
