Spelling Bee 2008

The Jefferson County Spelling Bee was held Monday, February 11th at the BFAC in Fairbury.
Participating for Fairbury Jr. Sr. High were: Josh Johnson, Sami Henske, Trent Simpson,
Sheridan Hutchison, Alison Buchli, Jensen Cromer, J.D. Moody, Tanner Specht, Hannah Reikofski, Morgan Schroeder and alternate Dustin Long.
After going 15 rounds spelling words such as battalion, hemorrhage and periosteum winners were finally announced.
Placing for Fairbury were 2nd place Josh Johnson, 3rd place Sami Henske and 10th place J. D. Moody.
The top four winners automatically go onto the district Spelling Bee in York on March 1st.
