Social Studies

You just get back from a 4 day vacation and what do you know, you’re Roving Reporter. Now everybody knows that is the worst day of your life. Now for me, that isn’t a fantasy. That is real life. But instead of hearing me whine about my life, I’ll go on to Roving Reporter.

When I got to school, I must have been blessed or something because I was early. And once I got in there, I noticed that Mrs. Dux left a note on the board. It said to some people to 1. Pass out new name tags. 2. It said to somebody else to help the latest Roving Reporter on audio. And for everyone else, READ IN YOUR DESK! After everyone got done with their assignments, the bell rang and it was time for science.

Once we were finally dragged into science, Mrs. Hudson ORDERED us to turn to a page in our text book. Then, she gave us 3 worksheets. One we had to cut, glue, and color a worksheet. The others were just regular worksheets. There we learned about radiation, conduction, and convection. Then BAM! The bell rang, and then we headed to reading.

Once we were trapped behind Mrs. Dux’s, or should I say Mrs. Lutzie’s treacherous doors of reading, Mrs. Lutzie told us to turn to a page in our textbook which contained our vocabulary words. After we looked at our words, she told us to make a mural about those words. So we got into our groups and we worked on them for the rest of class time.

After the endless seconds it took for the people to get into our homeroom for spelling, we had to do a pre-test. AAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU MAN! Then we were assigned pages 122 to 123. And once that bell rang, everybody was relieved to go to lunch.

Once everyone got done sprinting to lunch, we all engulfed our chili. Then we went outside, and while some played 4-square, others played football.

Even though we begged and begged to not go to math, Mrs. McAllister still dragged us into class. There we learned how to multiply fractions. Then the teacher assigned us a worksheet.

For P.E. we had Mrs. Polman for health class instead so there wasn’t much.

Once social studies rolled in, we read A LOT! And then we had workbook page 44,,48, and 49. There we learned about South America and the Incas.

When writing came in after social studies, Mrs. Lutzie gave us an A B C adjectives assignment. That’s when you write the alphabet and write an adjective about it. Example: A, athletic. B, beautiful. C, curious. And so on and so on.

Even though Roving Reporter is the worst thing after a 4 day vacation, you still learn a lot about the day. So I would like to say that Roving Reporter is interesting, but they need 1 rule; BAN ROVING REPORTER!!!!!!!!.
