Outlining

Today, I, the great Chris John Cloyd Jr. am your roving reporter. As we waited for the rest of the day, we all took a moment to read quietly at our desks. Than the bell rings to let us know that it is time for our first subject, science.

During science we studied pressure and how it affects other objects. There are two laws that apply to pressure. Doyle’s is an example of pressure in a bike tire while Charles’ law is the expansion of air when it gets hot. At the end of class, Mrs. Hudson showed us a man on a calendar that named the Bonham Theater after himself, Luther Bonham.

In reading we read about an author named Peter Benchley who went diving in shark infested water in a cage that is be attacked by a Great White. When we were finished we had to write a summery about story. Just before we went to the next class, Mrs. Hudson reminded us if we had anything about sharks.

We have been signing book in spelling all week, and tomorrow we are going to present our stories in front of the entire class.

Skipping over lunch and recess we were using our mini-marker boards for our test tomorrow in math. We’ve been on multiply and dividing fractions for a while, and Mrs. Mac has done a lot about preparing us. We did a small team competition see whose group knows fractions faster. At the end, team Christine won as Ms. Seibolt come to pick us up for PE

In PE we warmed up with Chinese freeze tag. Today we are doing gymnastics and a heavy built guy like my self has a hard doing a head stand. Everyone there did at least a 3 second head stand.

For social studies we read about the golden age of the Athens. This told about the battles between Sparta and Athens. Also we learned how to how to make a new graphic organizer. And in doing that, we learned roman numerals.

And for the aku-de-grau, writing where I got to judge a small writing competition where the prize was a chocolate kiss. The assignment was a trick because kids thought they had to use a bunch of describing words at random, but really they had to describe the color of an item.

Today was one of the best days of school I will ever have. And I say good-bye to you, my viewers, and this great day.
