Trap Team Competes at NE City

Trap season of 08 was started in Nebraska City. The song from
Kansas about dust in the wind comes to mind. The Jr high scores
were Becky Gasper 27, Calab Goedeken 35, Chad Medina 43, Clay
Medina 42, Kitrik Ahl 21, Cody Krula 18, Tyler Fisbeck 29. For a
cold wind blowing in there face these young kids did a great
job.
The Sr high Squad 1 Scott Banahan 81, Mac Krakow 84, Trenton
Griffin 90, Ridge Barber 78, Calab Stapaules 82, Squad 2 Kevin
Snyder 78, Spencer Wurm 76, Zach Goedeken 83, Jessica Melcher 77
Mike Orf 71, Squad 3 Cody Medina 74, Ryan Bulin 83, Jake Melcher
79, Justin Itzen 72, Luke Woods 86, Squad 4 Seth Ambrose 74, Greg
Bauer 79, Jordan Roseboroug 63, Katie Pitkin 46, Aaron Itzen 72,
Justin Sasse 57, Brandon Katz 64, Megan Reece 48. The sr high has
several return shooters and glad to have the new names on the
rooster. These scores do no justice for all the effort that was
shown.
The medals were squad 1 runner up on the 16 yard with a score of
223 also runner up as well on handicap yardage with a score of 192.
These scores total made it possible to take high overall champion.
For individual in Jr high Chad Medina was third for high overall.
Sr high individual awards are Scott Banahan 3rd for the 16 yard.
Handicap individual were Luke Woods Runner up and Trenton Griffin
as 1st who also took high overall. Jessica Melcher was 2nd in
handicap and was 2nd high overall in the ladies division.
The next meet will be for the jr high in Wilbur and the sr high in
Crete. Hope the weather knows the song Sunshine on my shoulder.
