Greek Plays

The long weekend was great! We all have to get back into the thinking process. It was a regular day like usual, and we were all ready to go to classes. Let’s go to science!

Think all the way back from last week said Mrs. Hudson. Think about Nuclear Fusion and Nuclear Fission. Nuclear Fusion is bringing together. Nuclear Fission is breaking apart. We also talked about how fossil fuels going trough a process to make electricity. Then we went off to reading.

We got to reading. We reread the story Ta-Na-E-Ka from last week. We took the AR test for it. When we got done with that we did states standards on paper. Spelling time.

From reading it was spelling. We were introduced with new words. The words have Greek roots. For our assignment were pages 142 and 143. Lunchtime!

For lunch we had chicken strips. Our sides were salad, bread, peaches, juice and milk. For recess I played basketball.

Right off the bat we did timing in math. Then we turned and checked our worksheet from last week. We learned solving equations adding, subtracting and multiplying. The math assignment was a worksheet on equations.

Next in physical education we first did a four-minute jog. When we got done jogging we stretched. Then we played with the Para shoot. We played a game is you try to keep the ball off of your side.

In social studies we watched Hercules. We then started on our plays to see who was bringing the props. Mrs. Dux announced that our assignment was workbook page 67.

It was a good day. I think everybody got in the thinking process. We were happy that the day was over. Next I was going home to do roving!
