Greek Plays

Hello and thank you for listening to today’s roving. As you may know we start out the day by doing lunch count and flag salute. Then off we go to science like cheetahs running from a hunter.

Today in science we checked our worksheets and talked about the different kinds of energy. We also had to do a review test on page E 92. We had short time to get it done but we could manage it.

Now we are off to reading. In the class I was in we had to finish writing out state standards then type the answers on the computer. We had lots of time after that so we got to read A.R. It felt like it took 5 minutes, but it was much longer.

We didn’t do much today in spelling. We got page 144 as our assignment. For sign language class, Mrs. Dux chose 5 people to practice signing a book, and then on a later date they will sign them to a 5th grader named Marshall. Then we got into our groups and practiced a different book in sign language.

I heard a strange noise once, twice, three times before remembering it was lunch time. Today was stromboli with pineapple, corn, juice, salad, and carrots. 15 minuets later we all got quiet so we could be dismissed to go out side. Soon the bell rang, and it was time to go inside.

Next, as you can imagine, was math. We did a review, and we got to keep yesterday’s assignment. We got a different assignment that we will hopefully do better on. It was practice 4-5 page 6 1-24.

P.E. came next; we did stretches with a partner. We played with the parachute today. The game was where when you lift it up at the same time and let go at the same time. We would lift it up and stand on it, or go in and sit on the inside. Last we played shark.

We came to social studies next. We checked page 67 and got no other assignments but one, and that was to finish a movie called Hercules. It wasn’t long before it was finally over and time for language arts.

In language arts we worked on our Greek plays. We rehearsed our lines and made some equipment that we would need in that play.

We had used up almost all of our strength, excellence, and energy, so now it was time to rest. I’m full of pride and very happy that you, all of you, listened to today’s roving report.
