“Rachel, what do you want for lunch?” Zach said as he greeted me in the doorway, with the lunch count. We read until 8:30 and then signed the Pledge of Allegiance. We were running late, but it didn’t matter because Mrs. Hudson’s class was too.

Clunk. Clunk. Mrs. Hudson started picking popsicle sticks for vocabulary. Once we finished, Sydnie picked up our folders. While she was doing this, we turned in our textbooks to page E92. The page was our review page for our test. We went over our review worksheet from yesterday. Then we went over the questions that we didn’t do. Mrs. Hudson grouped us by rows. Then she handed us part of the chapter test.

When we walked into reading, Mrs. Dux told us to take our seats. Then we checked our tests from yesterday. Then while the “Mystery Readers” practiced their books, everyone else read chapter books. Then, the last few minutes of reading, we tested the distance-learning cart.

Today instead of spelling, we had social studies because of the 4th grade program. The program was during the last half hour of social studies.

Yum. Pork patty with mashed potatoes. Once we finished our lunches, we went out for a finger freezing time! When the bell rang, everyone raced to the lines so they could go inside and learn.

After lunch was math. Mrs. McAllister picked up our review sheets that we did yesterday. Then she handed out a homework booklet. It was about algebra and solving equations.

When our brains were tired of numbers, we went to music. We practiced our program music that we have to sing to parents in a week. Then we learned some moves to a song. During P.E. we jogged for 6 minutes. Then we stretched out. After that, 3 people got in the middle of the parachute and held on tightly because they took a spin, when we pulled.

We played “Let’s Bet” for social studies. Zach handed out our clickers, while we placed a bet. It was a preview of ancient Rome. It was pretty hard, since we didn’t know any of it.

We had to leave early, because the 4th graders showed us their program. It was about your body and how to eat right.
Today was mass band. We walked ahead of the other classes with Mr. Luebbe. We have to bring our instruments to school on Monday because we will practice at the high school after program practice.

Everyone walked out of school today, hoping that tomorrow will be just as good as today.
