Spring is here, the grass is turning green, and the birds are chirping. Soccer games have started, and it is now time for another round of Roving Reporter.
First, in science class we checked our assignments. We read about electricity in our textbook. Luckily, we had no upcoming assignment.
Next, we had reading. We checked our assignment. Then we were given a Thesaurus to pick any word that had antonyms and synonyms. The class then had to guess some of these. Then we were given a National Geographic book so we could pick any picture with a caption and read it to the class.
For spelling we did not have an assignment. We did not have a weekly test which was unusual.
Then for lunch we had chicken strips with fruit, juice, and milk. At recess the students played the usual activities: four square, football, basketball, and jump rope.
It was time for math. We checked our assignments, and then worked on our State Standards.
After math we had computer lab. We did a student activity. First Mrs. Dux paired us up with a partner. Each of us was given a bag of M&M’s. We had to predict the number of certain colors in our bag, and then had to graph it. For the weekend we had to finish our assignment that we were given on Thursday.
In library we worked on our summaries for our book reports. We then read A.R. Then it was time for music. We watched the video from our spring program, Rock.
For art we worked on our flower picture and the coins that we
made.
Study hall came and the students worked on any assignment that
needed to be done.
The students anxiously waited for the bell to ring so we could be free from another day at Jefferson Intermediate. The year is winding down, and we are all getting excited for summer time to come. Roving Reporter, out.
