Okay, I made it last time as Roving Reporter, but this time is different. We had a guest teacher today whose name is Mrs. Welch. When we entered the classroom, Ronnie was waiting with the lunch count so we can fill it out. Once we were done filling it out, we went to our desk to read AR. Soon after, we were ready for science class.
As we entered the room, Mrs. Hudson was waiting at the door to give us a warm welcome. Once we were seated, she asked us a question on a rock’s physical properties. After that we went over the worksheet that was due today. As soon as that was over, we went over the worksheet that will be due tomorrow. Then it was time for reading.
For reading we read a novel called Racal. It’s a story about a boy who finds a baby raccoon and raises him like his many other animals. We had to stop for a little bit and do a tornado drill. As soon as we got back to the room, we wasted no time and began reading some more. Next was guidance class.
Mrs. Dowell was waiting for us as we entered. We went over the things we need to practice for the tests next week. Then we headed for lunch.
For lunch today was grilled chicken and BBQ. We all ate our satisfying meals. Next it was time for recess. For recess I played football. Then the bell rang saying it was time for math.
Once we were in math class, everyone pulled out our assignments. We checked those problems and received our vocabulary papers. We graphed them, and then we handed the folders in numerically. Then we were given our assignment. Next it was PE time.
In PE class we finished the shuttle run and did stretches. While people were stretching, others played Every Man for Himself. Next it was time for Social Studies.
For social studies we read chapter 10 and did a workbook page. We were given time to work on it for a little bit, and then we worked on our Greek plays.
We worked on the set for writing. I am the director and give
people a job to do if they need one. Once that was over, we had
study hall.
Hey it wasn't so different after all. But next time, if there is
one, I will do Roving a little more different.
