The school year is winding down and everybody just wants to get another day of school out of the way, so we started. As usual we left our room for science. First off we took a vocabulary test, and then we looked over our worksheet. After that we designed a circuit book where we drew a picture of a circuit Mrs. Hudson made for us. It was pretty exciting.
In reading it was a whole different story. We took tests, a student’s nightmare. Our nightmare was cured though, after we played sparkle in spelling.
Mrs. McAllister gave a state standard back to us in math, and we had to find the circumference of a circle. She also showed us how to get half of a circumference by taking pi times the radius. She cut up a paper plate and put it in a rectangle shape and by doing this she taught us how to find the area of a circle, and the formula to that is pi times radius to the second power. Mrs. McAllister tested us to see if we would find the area of a circle too.
We headed for music but we were having music in the computer lab because Mr. Zrust had an assignment for us. We had to pick a musician or composer and research them on the computer. After we were done with the research, we would have to put it into a power point. So we got to work. After our hard work was finished, we left for P.E. where Mrs. Seibolt let us retake our physical fitness tests. Physical fitness tests are, for example, crunchers, push-ups, and reaching our toes.
Social studies turned into computer class. We used our social studies time for computer class because Mrs. Dux is going to be gone for computer class. Mrs. Dux made us work in Microsoft Excel on a project on M&Ms. We had to count the colors of M&Ms in each bag of candy and compare our colors and numbers with our partner.
After computer class, study hall started and school ended. I was relieved that another day of school was done and over with.
