Today we had no school work in the morning due to our school track meet. The field events that were played were shot put, high jump and long jump. The running events were 80m dash, 100 m dash, and the 400. That was fun. The final thing we did was the relay. That was fun too. We all appreciate what the Kiwanis Club does for us to have nice track meet. They have been doing it for forty years, and that’s a long time. The kids who placed in the top five were given ribbons. Then it was over.
When we got back in the room we finished watching our movie AWrinkle In Time. Then we headed for lunch. We had fish sticks and we had a good recess.
After that we had music. Then we talked and went to the high school. We went and had a tour. We will be at the high school next year.
When we got back Cole handed out his birthday treats and it was time to go. We went home sort of slow because we were sore from all of the running we did. All in all we had a wonderful day.
