Ryan's Podcast

As I got out the van and met with my friends, I could tell that it was going to be a homework filled day.

When I finally packed up and was in reading, I got out myStargirl questions ready to check. Then we took a test in Reasoning and Writing. The test consisted of five different parts.

Next after reading was math where we learned about two kinds of graphs: the line graph and bar graph. Our assignment was to do questions 5-8 and 11 on page 67.

Sloppy Joe on a bun, and tater tots were on the menu today. As always the food was great. Good job Jeff chefs! Four-square, kickball, swings oh my! Those were a few of the things we were able to do for recess today.

After recess was physical education, or P.E. We played grasshoppers and ants. The game is played like tag, but when you’re tagged, you lay down with your legs and hands in the air. Then four people have to carry you to a hula hoop. Once they get you in the hoop, you are back in the game.

Music was next and we learned 4 different kinds of notes. Using a worksheet we learned the quarter note, the 8th note, the 16th note, and the 32ndnote. The worksheet had us trace and make our own notes.

Later in science we took a test on the 4 kinds of matter:solids, liquids, gases, and plasma.

In social studies we checked page 11 and found out what the next chapter was in the book which happened to be on Abraham.

During band we played solos and learned a new note called A or as trumpets play one and two.

The bell rang as we got ready to go home with our backpacks full of homework. This is your Roving Reporter Ryan checking out.
