As I packed my lunch and got ready for school, I knew it was going to be a home work filled day. When I got into homeroom, we kicked off the day with lunch count and attendance. Also Mrs. Hudson gave us a lecture on how some kids have head lice so know we have keep our coats in bags.

The first class of the day was reading. The first order of business was to find all the student’s lost papers. Vocabulary was the big picture in of the day in reading, so of course our assignment was the all known vocabulary pictures.

The absolutely most boring subject is what we did in Language arts today. Reasoning and Writing is complex and very difficult to understand, and that’s why nobody likes it. Spelling was also included in language arts for a brief time.

Today in math it was all algebra, so it was very new to the sixth grade. To some, algebra is a piece of cake, and to others it’s like the periodic table when you’re five. Luckily Mrs. Mac was Kind enough to explain what it was.

The main entrée of the day was breaded pork patty. Everyone had a filling lunch because they had a lot of energy for recess. Recess was just the usual with swings and 4-square.

In music nothing much happened except we played keyboards and learned key names like abcdefg. Due to Miss Seibolt becoming ill, we had to skip P.E .

In social studies the main item we learned about was the Nile River. We learned that most Egyptian cultures live close to the Nile for water. Sadly social studies came to an end and it was time for study hall.

Study hall was just the usual with kids going to band and some staying. Very fortunately all the homework I had was simple and easy. The end of the day came and it was time to go.

So all in all it was a great day, and luckily I didn’t have any homework. So know I’m looking forward to the next roving reporter.
