School Improvement Goal

All students will improve their reading comprehension and vocabulary skills across the curriculum.

This goal will be achieved through use of the following strategies:

1. Students will improve their reading comprehension skills by learning to use Graphic Organizers as a strategic tool to identify key concepts and supporting details, examples and definitions.

2. Students will improve their vocabulary skills through participation in the L to J Strategy Process to actively monitor their learning progress and achievement.
