The Fairbury Public Schools Work Based
Learning Program is a supervised work experience for at-risk
students or students with disabilities. It provides a
foundation for successful transition from high school to the adult
world of work. Students will be able to earn credits toward
graduation by participating in this program. Job site
placements will be individualized according to each student's
needs, strengths, and interests. Our goal is to help students
identify future goals and develop job skills needed for successful
future employment. This program offers benefits to students,
employer, and the school. If you or your business is
interested please contact Mrs. Smith, the transition coordinator,
at Fairbury Jr.-Sr. High School (729-6116). Check out the slide
show of businesses we are working with.
