Kindergarten Celebrates 'P' Week with a 'P' Party

by Kim Parde
January 16, 2006

There was pop. There was popcorn. There was Peter Pan. The kids were dressed in pink, purple, polka dots, piggy tails, puppies, Pokemon, Power Rangers, pants, and shirts with pictures. It couldn't be anything else but...the ' P' Party in Mrs. Parde's Kindergarten!!!

We watched Peter Pan while we ate our weight in popcorn and drank pop! (the PE teacher didn't think this was a good idea, since she had them playing basketball after the party) It was so fun to see what each kid wore to show the letter ' P'.

We also had 'homework' for the kids to do with their parents. They had to make a list of ' P' words. The participants had so much fun thinking up ' P' words. One student wrote down 156 ' P' words. He won the pony prize!

We had a pretty perfect party.
